Carol and Robert found us through the Connecticut Chapter of the American Institute of Architects. After viewing our web site they thought that ADM might be able to help them design and build a cottage or a bungalow on their newly acquired 140-acre parcel in Coventry. After visiting with us and viewing several of our new home designs they were assured that ADM was a designer of their desired type of home.

We developed an easy living, amenity packed home with most of the living space on the first floor. [The second floor is "guest quarters" with two bedrooms and a bath.] All first floor spaces are universally designed so that Bob and Carol can enjoy this house the rest of their lives. Each room flows into the next minimally divided by columns and beams.

This house is unique in that the owners chose amenities over square footage. It boasts of fine detailing instead of voluminous rooms. The columns, paneling, doors, stair, railing and benches are reminiscent of bungalows of the Arts and Crafts era.
